Adam succeeded in an extremely selective competition for a fellowship in clinical chemistry, one of the 30 positions nationwide! He will start his fellowship, while continuing to work on mass spectrometry, in Cleveland Clinic in June 2015. Congrats!!!

Publication in the JPR special issue–Proteomics of Human Diseases: Pathogenesis, Diagnosis, Prognosis and Treatment
“Absolute proteomic quantitation of CFTR expression and turnover in the plasma membrane” has just been accepted. It will be published in the Journal of Proteome Research Special Issue–Proteomics of Human Diseases: Pathogenesis, Diagnosis, Prognosis and Treatment. This collaborative work involved colleagues from Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, University of North Carolina, and Dartmouth College among others.

Vahid successfully defended his dissertation on June 12, 2014. He is heading to Pfizer for an exciting post-doctoral position in biological mass spectrometry and quantitative proteomics.
